We had the pleasure of having 4 very major events for our wedding. On the 27th of September, we got registered in our own home in Auckland with a small ceremony. The ceremony was officiated by a lovely celebrant by the name of Gil and we had a small selection of friends and family attend.
On the 25th of December, we were introduced to each others’ families during the Tea Ceremony which was held in Serendah, the house where Calvin’s paternal Grandparents lived. Here we served tea to all our older relatives and gave out money packets to our younger, single family members.
Finally on the 27th of December, we had the main events of the Church Ceremony at Jesus Caritas Church and the Wedding Dinner at the Grand Millennium Hotel Ballroom. These were the major affairs and what all the planning was for. Fortunately for us, it all worked out and the day ended up being spectacular!
Calvin and Elaine would like to thank each and every one of you who helped with the planning and organisation as well as those who attended the various ceremonies, especially those of you who traveled long distances to attend.
